Here're the pics from dinner last Monday night. Tracy, the food was delicious!
Group foto!
LOL, Iris. Trying to be all in the picture and stuff.
Delicious, delicious ham and cheese bread that the Patisserie Tracy made.
Yay! Anica gives it a super-thumb up. Also, Neeks, thanks for giving me the book I didn't remember purchasing. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, now that I know I have it. :D
Elaine is here in spirit and through the wondrous use of technology! While eating a bowful of cookie dough. Because anything is possible in this crazy world of ours.
Clean plates and a satsified grin. Dinner was a success!
When Elaine moved up to NYC, I made her a New York mixtape so that she could jam to embarassingly cheesy music (Glee cast, I'm looking at you) while wandering the city studying.
I would apologize for the Nina Hagen song but she so obviously doesn't feel the need, so why should I, really? Also, it's a weird, German counterpoint to the Glee mash-up. Hope you like the Paloma Faith song, though, since that's one of my favorites in the entire world. I just really like the artist. :D
As usual, you'll need some sort of ZIP program to unzip the file. I've been using a free one called 7zip.
I'm not gonna lie. I saw the romcom Friends with Benefits and enjoyed every second of it. And totes got obsessed with that song, too. I'm such a popular culture tool.
"What I'm going for is ridiculous, I want it to look like, like this bear has a grandma that just won't stop making it ridiculous clothes that it has to wear."
I love the photo here! I can't find it on istockphoto, but I want to share it. It reminds me of a dark/grayish blue wall with a bunch of yellow post-it notes all over it. Inspiration?!
Esther - where is our winter mix?
The rest of you - Do you guys have music you like to run to? I'm starting to get 'fit' . . . well as fit as I am going to be in med school, and would love some tunes with a good beat. I'd like a running mix!
